heroingypsy: i never realized how much i was bullied in highschool until i started thinking back and was like wow people said and did really fucked up things to me, i just really didn’t give two fucks about them and told myself they were scum so when i’d see said bullies at parties after we graduated and they’d be like “NATALIE why don’t we ever kick it?” I’d be like “I don’t know let’s see, maybe because you called me a butterface in highschool and are a huge douchebag?” yup yup yeah sounds about right No matter what you were called it was never okay.  I was never called fat by a guy, but many other things down to some quite shocking words even some that I can’t bring myself to repeat.  Like the guy who found it hilarious to call me poodle because I had curly hair, that wasn’t funny.  It isn’t nice no matter how innocent you may think it may be.  I picked one of the most innocent of them to use as an example.  It isn’t okay from a guy or a girl or anyone of any type to call anyone anything other than what they wish to be called, preferably their name.  One of the most hurtful things came from a girl that was supposed to be my friend, teenagers and kids can be cruel.  When we become adults you think that it ends, it doesn’t.  It just is different.  Things don’t always change because people don’t always evolve and learn.  We just cope better, begin to accept that people are flawed and some people are ignorant.  Also some people are just plain cruel, it absolutely doesn’t mean there is ANYTHING wrong with you.
